Overview

Altered Passive Eruption (APE)—often referred to as a “gummy smile”—remains a common yet frequently misdiagnosed condition in clinical practice.

With the integration of digital technologies and workflows, clinicians can now:

  • Achieve precise diagnosis before surgery
  • Improve patient communication and case acceptance
  • Elevate outcomes through interdisciplinary esthetic planning

In this webinar, Dr. Roberto Rossi will demonstrate how digital tools are transforming the way we diagnose, plan, and treat APE and vertical maxillary excess, allowing clinicians to deliver more predictable and esthetic results.
